1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Welcome to SystemsArchitect.io ("we," "us," "our," or "Platform"). By accessing or using our Platform, you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.
BETA TESTING NOTICE: SystemsArchitect.io is currently in BETA testing. By using this Platform during the beta period, you acknowledge that features, functionality, content, and availability may change, vary, or be discontinued at any time without notice or liability. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any such changes.
2. DEFINITIONS
- "Platform" means the SystemsArchitect.io website, application, services, tools, content, and all related features
- "Content" means all text, code examples, best practices, documentation, AI-generated content, graphics, and other materials provided through the Platform
- "Services" means all features, tools, and functionality offered through the Platform
- "User Content" means any content, data, or information you submit, post, or save to the Platform
- "Subscription" means paid access tiers including Pro Monthly, Pro Annual, and Visionary Circle
- "Free Tier" means the free access level with limited features
About SystemsArchitect.io app
Any discussion about Cloud services on Amazon AWS, GCP (Google), Microsoft Azure and other cloud companies relates to services offered by those respective businesses directly. SystemsArchitect.io only provide guides, quizes, best practices, other tools and commentary services to help understand those company's underlying cloud services. In order to use those companies' services you must pay them separately -- and that is not included in our service or as part of your payment.
3. BETA TESTING ACKNOWLEDGMENT
3.1 Beta Status
You acknowledge and agree that:
a) The Platform is in BETA testing and is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis b) Features may be incomplete, unstable, or subject to errors, bugs, or unexpected behavior c) Service availability is not guaranteed and may be interrupted or discontinued at any time d) Performance, speed, and reliability may vary significantly e) Data loss, corruption, or unexpected changes may occur f) AI-generated content quality and accuracy may vary
3.2 Changes to Features
We reserve the right to:
a) Modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, service, or functionality at any time without notice b) Change pricing, subscription tiers, or usage limits without prior notification c) Remove or alter content, including AI-generated content and best practices d) Update the Platform's structure, organization, or user interface e) Adjust AI query limits, tool access, or usage caps
You agree that we have NO LEGAL OBLIGATION to maintain, support, or continue providing any specific feature or service, even for paid subscribers.
3.3 No Warranties During Beta
During the beta testing period, we make NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES regarding:
a) Platform uptime or availability b) Feature functionality or performance c) Data preservation or backup d) AI content accuracy or completeness e) Compatibility with future versions f) Continued access to any specific feature
4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY
4.1 Account Creation
You must:
a) Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration b) Maintain and update your account information c) Be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent d) Use a valid email address for authentication e) Choose a unique username that complies with our guidelines
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
a) Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials b) All activities that occur under your account c) Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access d) Using strong passwords and security practices
4.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:
a) Violation of these Terms b) Fraudulent or abusive behavior c) Excessive use or system abuse d) Any reason during the beta testing period
5. SUBSCRIPTION TIERS AND PAYMENTS
5.1 Subscription Plans
The Platform offers multiple access tiers:
- Free Tier (SCOUT): 25 AI queries/day, limited features, 21 AWS services
- Pro Monthly: $29/month, 50 AI queries/day, all cloud services, code tabs
- Pro Annual: $290/year, same as Pro Monthly plus SUPPORTER badge
- Visionary Circle: $999 one-time, 100 AI queries/day, 5 years access, exclusive features
5.2 Best Efforts Basis
All services and features are provided on a BEST EFFORTS BASIS. We do not guarantee:
a) Specific feature availability for any tier b) Continuous access to paid features c) Any particular level of service quality d) Feature parity across subscription tiers e) That paid features will remain exclusive to paid tiers
5.3 Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to:
a) Change subscription prices at any time b) Modify tier features and benefits without notice c) Add or remove features from any tier d) Discontinue subscription tiers e) Change AI query limits and usage caps
For active subscriptions, price changes will take effect at the next billing cycle unless otherwise specified.
5.4 Payment Terms

6. AI-POWERED FEATURES AND CONTENT
6.1 AI-Generated Content
The Platform provides AI-researched content including:
a) Explanation tabs (Explain, Terms, FAQs) b) Implementation guides (Dashboard, CLI, TypeScript, Python, Terraform, CloudFormation) c) Tutorial and gotcha content d) Architecture comparisons and recommendations e) Second Opinion tool analysis
6.2 AI Content Disclaimers
You acknowledge that:
a) AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information b) Content is provided for informational purposes only and is not professional advice c) You are responsible for verifying all information before implementation d) We are not liable for damages resulting from use of AI-generated content e) Content quality may vary during beta testing f) MCP integration enhances accuracy but does not guarantee correctness
6.3 Usage Limits
AI query limits are enforced per tier:
- Free: 25/day general queries, 5/day enhanced tools
- Pro Monthly: 50/day general queries, 25/day enhanced tools
- Pro Annual: 50/day general queries, 25/day enhanced tools
- Visionary Circle: 100/day general queries, 50/day enhanced tools
Cached content does not count against limits. We reserve the right to modify limits at any time.
6.4 Tool-Specific Limits
Enhanced AI tools have separate daily limits:
a) Build This, Not That!: 5/day (Free), 25/day (Pro), 50/day (Visionary) b) Second Opinion: Pro tier and above, 10/day (Pro), 50/day (Visionary) c) Update Tabs: Visionary Circle exclusive, 10/day
7. USER CONTENT AND DATA
7.1 User Content Ownership
You retain ownership of content you create:
a) Profile information and customizations b) Projects and project descriptions c) Saved points collections d) Notes and annotations e) Feedback submissions
7.2 Platform License
By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
a) Store, process, and display your content on the Platform b) Create backups and copies for operational purposes c) Use aggregated, anonymized data for analytics and improvements d) Share your public profile information if you choose public visibility
7.3 Data Preservation During Beta
IMPORTANT BETA WARNING: During beta testing:
a) Your data may be lost, corrupted, or deleted without notice b) We may reset databases or remove user data during updates c) Backup and data preservation are not guaranteed d) Export features may be incomplete or unavailable e) You should maintain your own backups of important content
We strongly recommend exporting or backing up any critical data. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS DURING BETA TESTING.
7.4 Privacy
Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to our collection, use, and sharing of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
8.1 Platform Content
All Platform content, including but not limited to:
a) Best practice points and documentation b) Service descriptions and metadata c) UI design, layout, and organization d) Code examples and templates e) Graphics, icons, and visual elements f) Proprietary algorithms and methodologies
is the exclusive property of SystemsArchitect.io or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8.2 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
a) Access and use the Platform for personal or commercial purposes b) View, save, and reference Platform content c) Use code examples in your own projects (subject to applicable licenses) d) Share links to public Platform content
8.3 Restrictions
You may NOT:
a) Copy, reproduce, or redistribute Platform content in bulk b) Create derivative works or competing products c) Scrape, data mine, or automatically extract content d) Remove copyright notices or attribution e) Reverse engineer Platform features or algorithms f) Use content to train AI models without permission
Circumventing Service Limits (e.g., multiple accounts, multiple users per account, automated tools) is prohibited and may result in account suspension without refund and additional costs or penalties. Please use the Platform within the established and agreed limits in our payment policy and terms. We reserve to the right to take additional security measures to enforce these limits including IP blocking, account suspension, legal action and other measures to report abuse to law enforcement and technical support for security if necessary.
9. ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
9.1 Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:
a) Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights b) Share account credentials or circumvent access controls c) Abuse or exceed usage limits (AI queries, tool limits) d) Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content e) Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users f) Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data g) Use automated tools to access the Platform (bots, scrapers) h) Resell or redistribute Platform access or content i) Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits
9.2 Fair Use During Beta
During beta testing, we reserve the right to:
a) Throttle or restrict access for excessive usage b) Modify usage limits without notice c) Terminate accounts for abuse or suspected abuse d) Implement additional restrictions as needed
10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND CONTENT
10.1 External Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. We:
a) Do not endorse or control third-party content b) Are not responsible for third-party practices or policies c) Make no warranties regarding third-party services
10.2 Cloud Provider Content
Content related to AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud providers is based on publicly available documentation and best practices. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to these providers.
10.3 OpenRouter and AI Services
The Platform uses OpenRouter and other AI services to generate content. We:
a) Are not responsible for AI service availability or quality b) May change AI providers without notice c) Cannot guarantee consistency of AI-generated content
11. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
11.1 Platform Provided "AS IS"
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
a) MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE b) NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS c) ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF CONTENT d) UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION e) DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED f) CONTENT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS
11.2 Beta Testing Disclaimers
DURING BETA TESTING, WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES THAT:
a) Features will function as described or intended b) Services will be available or reliable c) Content will be accurate, current, or complete d) Data will be preserved or backed up e) The Platform will be compatible with your systems f) Any particular feature will remain available
11.3 Professional Advice Disclaimer
CONTENT ON THIS PLATFORM IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE:
a) Professional consulting or advisory services b) Cloud architecture or engineering advice c) Security or compliance recommendations d) Financial, legal, or business advice
You should consult qualified professionals before implementing any solutions based on Platform content.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
12.1 No Liability for Damages
WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
a) Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities b) Loss of data or information c) Cost of substitute services d) Business interruption or downtime e) Reputational harm or loss of goodwill f) Errors in implementation of best practices or code examples
12.2 Maximum Liability Cap
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
a) The amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, OR b) $100 USD
12.3 Beta Testing Limitations
DURING BETA TESTING, YOU SPECIFICALLY AGREE THAT:
a) We have no obligation to maintain service availability b) We are not liable for feature changes or removals c) We are not responsible for data loss or corruption d) We may terminate services without liability e) Refunds may be limited or unavailable (see Payment Policy)
13. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SystemsArchitect.io, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
a) Your use or misuse of the Platform b) Your violation of these Terms c) Your violation of any rights of third parties d) Your User Content or conduct on the Platform e) Your implementation of content, code, or recommendations from the Platform
14. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14.2 Arbitration Agreement
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except for:
a) Claims for injunctive or equitable relief b) Small claims court matters c) Intellectual property disputes
14.3 Class Action Waiver
YOU AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS ACTIONS, CLASS ARBITRATIONS, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDINGS.
15. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
15.1 Right to Modify
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, with or without notice. During beta testing, Terms may change frequently to reflect evolving features and policies.
15.2 Notification
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes by:
a) Posting updated Terms on the Platform b) Updating the "Last Updated" date c) Site-wide banners (for significant changes) d) Email notifications (for substantial policy changes)
15.3 Continued Use
Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
16. TERMINATION
16.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by:
a) Contacting support b) Using account deletion features (if available) c) Ceasing use of the Platform
16.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice or liability, for:
a) Violation of these Terms b) Fraudulent or illegal activity c) Abuse of Platform features or resources d) Any reason during beta testing e) Discontinuation of the Platform or specific features
16.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
a) Your license to use the Platform immediately ends b) You must cease all use of Platform content c) We may delete your User Content (subject to Privacy Policy) d) Refunds are subject to our Payment Policy e) Sections of these Terms that by nature should survive will remain in effect
17. GENERAL PROVISIONS
17.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Payment Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SystemsArchitect.io regarding the Platform.
17.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17.3 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
17.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms at any time without restriction.
17.5 Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, labor disputes, or disruptions to internet infrastructure.
17.6 Electronic Communications
You consent to receive electronic communications from us, and agree that such communications satisfy any legal requirement for written notice.
18. BETA TESTING PROGRAM
18.1 Beta Participant Role
As a beta tester, you acknowledge that:
a) You are helping us test and improve the Platform b) Your feedback may be used to enhance features c) You have no expectation of compensation for participation d) The beta period may end at any time
18.2 Feedback and Suggestions
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas:
a) We may use them without compensation or attribution b) You grant us unlimited rights to such feedback c) We have no obligation to implement suggestions d) Confidential information should not be included in feedback

20. ACKNOWLEDGMENT
